Day 24 - Chinchilla
We had some rain last night but hardly enough to talk about. The morning fog hanging loosely over Charley's Creek this morning was a surprise when I opened the van door for Tilly morning constitutional.
Chinchilla is known as the Melon Capital of Australia. Cannot say it was the most exciting place to visit but its another town to tick off on our adventures.
We took a drive out to the Chinchilla Weir where you can also camp. First in best dressed for powered sites and the rest is off grid. It was really busy and I must admit it was nice to be able to have the quiet of campsite for a mere $27.00 a night with power, water and a water view.
We finished the night off around our fire.
