After of night of rain, we packed up, jumped in the car ready for our next exciting trip into the unknown.
Well that was the plan, however the car had different ideas. All it did was go grrr grrr grrr. She failed to ignite into action. One very flat battery.
Now a flat battery is not always a problem but to save on weight we left our jump starting gadget at home with the spare battery. This of course got Georgie's blood flowing very quickly and after a few choice words he accosted a local cow cocky for a jump start. Thank goodness the old girl decided to fire as I think another round of George's choice vocabulary would have seen Tilly and I walking!!
We travelled up the Castlereagh Highway crossing the Castlereagh River and passing through the towns of Gulargambone, Combara, Coonamble, Wingadee and Walgett - 256klm.
