Day 7 - Gilgandra to Armatree -

 

So happy 63rd birthday to me!!   Whoop Whoop.    Still the right side of the grass so that is a plus.

Today we left Gilgandra and travelled a massive 34 klms to Armatree.     Another pub stay for $15.00 dollars with power, water, toilets, showers, food and beer for Georgie.

We arrived early and were soon joined by a group of young ones celebrating a 30th birthday.     They were all cross dressed and Armatree publ was the first stop on their pub crawl.     They were a great group of kids happy to chat with the oldies and Tilly who of course won their hearts.    I obliged by being their photographer for the time they were there.

We had a lovely lunch and ale at the pub before retiring to our van for a relaxing afternoon of girlie movies.   My choice!!

Later in the afternoon we were surrounded by dark skies looking very ominous but which around us until later in the night when we rain came back.    Everything here is very wet under foot.

We  had dinner at the pub for my birthday and enjoyed an open fire and talking to a lot of the locals whom came to the publ for the evening.
