Day 22 - Roma to Dulacca

Day 22 - Roma to Dulacca

Well another massive day.   We travelled east along the Warrego Highway to the "Pink Pub" in Dulacca..

We travelled through the small towns Wallumbilla (where we stopped for the worst coffee but nicest ladies ever), Yuleba, Jackson and finally the "Pink Pub" at Dulacca.

Our stay for the night was in the property next to the pub.

We arrived early and took time to do some house keeping and have a look around the pub.   Some other weary travellers started to roll in after lunch and finally another Sunset Caravan came rolling in.    We were so excited as this was the first one we have seen since we bought ours.

Obviously these caravans only go to really nice people as David and Dawn from the Sunshine Coast were really nice people and we all shared a meal and a few vinos at the pub that night and were the last to leave.      It always great to catch up with other travellers and hear their stories.

The pub turned out to be great value $25.00 for the night power and water and you got a $10.00 voucher to eat at the pub.

Now I have touched on how handy my Georgie can be but this time it paid off.     The power was not working when we hooked up and gadget was straight onto it!!  Circuit breaker in the power board.  Of course!!   However, finding the power board was the trick!! After a bit of investigation he found it.      Because he was so clever and thought he would just let the pub know that the circuit breaker was tripping, it earned us other $10.00 voucher!!        At this rate we will never come home as he is finally paying his way!!

Tilly really enjoyed this pub as she was allowed to come to dinner.
