Ulladulla to Maitland - 7 August 2022
So us intrepid nomads packed puckered and primed set off on 7 August for lovely downtown Mhowaitland on our seven week trip through parts of northern NSW and southern Queenland,
We set off in sunshine and arrived in sunshine. Yes sunshine with only one shower of rain on the way!
Our first two nights accommodation is at Maitland Showground and at $25.00 per night and dog friendly it is a bargain.
We dined out at Coquun (dog friendly) on the riverbank and enjoyed a lovely sunset, a glass of wine and a lovely meal. Luckily I dont have to go too far to please the old bloke. As long as there is beer at the other end of his hand he is a happy old bloke.
I have discovered however that George would be the absolutely worst navigator on this earth and put a couple of beers in his belly he is evven worse. We made it back to the showground (thanks to my navigation) but couldn't find the gate to get in so the navigator had us all round the place and we ended doing an extra 5klms to find the right gate. Ah well we all love an evening drive!
